From the window they see someone waving to them under the porch light. Yet things get much worse after they open the door to find no one there. The Mother - An ex-convict gets a cold reception from her future mother-in-law. The relationship doesn't improve after she pushes the mother down a well. The Dark - Two people investigate a disturbance in a seemingly abandoned house. A thick gloom saturates the rooms inside, but it's not what's in it that they need to fear.
