"Connecting with Your Audience Through Social Media" Presented by Sarah BarrettTupelo-area native Sarah Barrett graduated from Mississippi University for Women in May 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design. Sarah has been designing and creating art professionally since 2013 and launched a calligraphy and brand design business in 2016. She's worked with different publications, including being the advertising art director for Mississippi Magazine. With a strong desire to learn, she's obtained multi-disciplinary skills in watercolor painting, graphic design, social media marketing and community building. Advocating for and elevating small businesses and marginalized communities are passions of hers. Recently, Sarah created the business Brand Refinery Co. which specializes in designing brand identities and creating captivating, fun and informational content in the form of videos, photos and graphics to help businesses connect with their audiences through various social media platforms.
