In the wake of the COVID 19 Pandemic, our community is increasingly aware of issues related to mental health, substance use, violence and inequity. As we push forward, we must continue educating, advocating and addressing these challenges that impact those that we love. This conference aims to support that work by bringing together community members, parents, professionals and experts to continue conversations in a collaborative and restorative manner. Join local and nationally-known speakers as they discuss a variety of community issues such as racial trauma, faith-based trauma, trauma-informed school systems, supporting LGBTQIA+ populations, self-care and compassion fatigue. This conference will also include a poverty simulation and poster presentations.
Check-In/Registration begins at 7:45 a.m. November 17th with kick-off to follow at 8:30!
