Join FLORA by Miller and Hayes for a DIY Botanical Imprinting class. Make your own botaniclly dyed bandana, learning the Japanese technique of Tataki Zome, the art of hammering botanical dyes into fabric. During this class you will create your own bandana to take home while learning the art. Your bandanas have been pretreated prior to the class to create a dye that will withstand washing and use. Hammering plant dyes into fabric is not a quiet activity yet can be meditative in many ways. Whether you need to release some tension, let out a little steam, or truly want to learn the art, this class is for you! This class will be hosted at Fiddlestix Mercantile in New Oxford. The boutique will be open after hours for you to shop while you enjoy the class.
