PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Three Pinellas County constitutional officers were sworn in during a ceremony today, Tuesday, Jan. 5. The event took place at the Historic Pinellas County Courthouse located at 324 South Fort Harrison Ave. in Clearwater. COVID-19 safety precautions were taken with all in attendance using masks, social distancing. The event was also livestreamed.
Ken Burke, Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, Mike Twitty, Property Appraiser and Julie Marcus, Supervisor of Elections took the oath of office during the ceremony.
Constitutional officers provide critical services for the residents of Pinellas County. As established by the Florida Constitution, they are elected every four years to serve at the will of the people.
