We look out at our ocean and see crashing waves brilliant in the sunrises and sunsets. We see surfers, we see breaching whales and dolphins. We think we know the sea. But do you know of the killing, the needless killing that goes on beneath the surface of the sea? I looked into it and I discovered the details of selfish acts that harm creatures, kill creatures, needlessly. But I also found redemption. I found men who experienced epiphanies which caused change in them and their actions. In one case an epiphany handed down by a deceased loved one that caused dramatic change. Our voices echo long after the last piece of sod is placed upon our graves. Sometimes those words cause dramatic change in the living. This is a story of valor, but gentleness too.
