Job description About Us We set up luxury beachside beds in Los Angeles for couples and groups. Our hours are from 10:00AM-7:30PM. We're looking for someone who lives close to Zuma Beach in Malibu, can easily access the beach by truck/van, extremely reliable, good with people and physically able lift equipment on and off the beach (beds, umbrellas, pillows etc.). You'll arrange a sunbed, daybed or “mega lounger” (multiple beds together), welcome guests, take off and return to pick the gear up at finish, solving for issues if they arise. In addition, you'll clean sheets, pillows cups, and care for as needed, which requires a washing machine and drier. www.thebeachsociety.co/experiences Compensation is structured as a profit share (25%) yielding great pay for a relatively low time input pending the number and type of reservations. It's seasonal, slows down in winter and picks back up in spring. Our ideal candidate is entrepreneurial with aspirations to grow the business in the area. *Qualifications: -Must have a truck or cargo van -Drivers Lisence -Must be able to work weekdays & weekends -Must live near Zuma Beach (Malibu,CA) Day to day tasks: -You’ll set up beach beds from 1-4 beds at once along Malibu Beach -At times deliver beds to custom locations including private homes & residences (gas reimbursements available for out of zone driving) -Greet guests when they arrive to the beach -Pick up items when the reservation is complete -Assist guests if they need earlier pick up or have any problems throughout their experience -Wash and clean sheets, pillow covers, cups Storing items: -You will be responsible for keeping 4 folding beds, 4 umbrellas, beach cart, pillows, sheets and other small items in your storage space (garage, van, etc.) *each bed size 24" high x 12" high x 60" wide x 27" deep (4 beds stacked 96” x 60” wide x 27” deep) Compensation: -Profit share of 25%. The more reservations we have, the more you make. You’ll make a great profit compared to how many hours you’re putting in. -$35-$50 per hour (on average $500-$1400 per week) -Seasonal (most beach beds will be between March-October) Slow months Nov-Feb Note: we do expect our Malibu location to be busy-it is the number one requested area for our activity ***Application Questions:*** -Vehicle type (make & model) -What is your availability? -Where are you based?
