Family member of mine recently decided that he no longer wanted to keep Annabelle and was going to surrender her to a shelter even though he was the one who brought her to our family when she was just a kitten. Of course I didn't want that to happen so I've taken custody of her until I can find her a good and loving home. She has no medical issues or special needs, she is litterbox trained and spayed.
