Advanced Basement Waterproofing, a local Chicopee company, is hiring for an experienced mason with a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience with the ability to work in challenging work environments. Must have general knowledge of hand and power tools. Experience: Masonry/Carpentry - 1 year (REQUIRED) Basement Waterproofing - 2-3 years (REQUIRED) Construction: 2-3 years (REQUIRED) Mold Remediation: 1 year (Preferred) Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) License/Certification: Driver's License (REQUIRED) Qualifications: -Must demonstrate and perform each essential duty satisfactorily. -Must be reliable and substance abuse free -Must be available to work Monday through Friday, 8-10 hours each day -Ability to communicate and interact in a positive manner, with company personnel and especially external customers -Must be available to report to the company lot promptly every morning. -Physically able to work outside -Ability to lift 50 pounds or more -Awareness of safety measures involved in operating machinery Duties and Responsibilities: -Projects include but are not limited to mold remediation (removal of mold from floor, walls, and ceilings) and treat with special solutions. -Assist with pipe layers, work on drainage, and install drainage systems, waterproof basements. -Demolition and excavation of special projects and landscaping. -Mix substances or compounds needed for work activities. -Smooth surfaces of articles to be painted, using sanding and buffing tools -Clean work areas and equipment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift 8-12 Hour Shift Work Location: Multiple locations Labor type: Construction This Job Is: Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED and those who do not have a college diploma Work Environment(s) May Include: Elevated work areas Dirt/fumes Fast pace Inclement weather Company's website: advancedseamlessgutter.com
