Position Overview The Parts Manager is responsible for ordering, verifying, and distributing parts for our collision repair shop. We're looking for individuals who can create strong relationships with our vendors to not only ensure timely delivery and distribution of parts, but also maintain accurate accounting records for the parts department. Part Managers are essential to our team’s success because this role helps our location deliver safe, quality repairs. Autosport Collision Repair is looking for an experienced Auto Body Parts Manager. The position is responsible for running a profitable and efficient parts department. Major Essential Duties: • Increase sales and gross profit while striving to maintain or decrease costs • Perpetuate a partner-type mentality with other departments and key vendors • Interacting with General Manager / Estimators / Production Managers and to make sure all aspects of the repairs are as planned • Ensure timely distribution of parts to the shop in accordance with the production schedule • Order, bill out, credit and return items as needed • Ordering, stocking, and managing material inventory • Follow all quality control processes and procedures • Always look for ways the Parts Department can prosper while continuing to pursue a greater, more distinguishable level of service than our peers • Work with other Managers to optimize productivity • Work with owners throughout the month to maintain and clean up delinquent payments • Keep parts area clean and organized for production efficiency • Other duties as assigned/needed Position Qualifications: • 1-3+ years of experience working with automotive parts, past work with auto body parts a plus • Be extremely competent on the body shop’s Parts Department computer management system, CCC (preferred) • Ability to solve problems and create solutions efficiently and effectively • Computer Skills that include ability to navigate multiple computer programs at the same time • Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment • Excellent attention to detail • Willing to work alongside staff and all co-workers in a professional manner • Personal values to align with company values of Integrity, Teamwork, Innovation, Respect, and Excellence • Extremely organized • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work in a team, as well as independently • Excellent time management skills • Must have a valid driver’s license • Must be able to lift 50 pounds Benefits That Drive Your Success: • Monday Thru Friday • Day Shift • Competitive Pay Plan • Excellent Culture • Advancement opportunities • Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans Available • Paid Holidays and Vacation • Tuition Reimbursement (I-Car only)
