We’re looking for a hard-working, reliable handyman to join our team. In this position you will help us with basic repair and maintenance tasks. Handyman Responsibilities: • Maintain and repair air conditioning and heating systems as required. • Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems • Electrical wiring capabilities to manage problems with the building’s electricity • Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building • Repair and paint doors, windows, walls, ceilings, roofs and other parts of the building. • Groundskeeping for all outdoor areas: mowing, trimming, watering etc • Maintain trash and recycling receptacles around the facility • Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked • Interpersonal skills to interact with employees or residents of the building in a pleasant manner Handyman Requirements: • Previous experience in a similar role • Must have own transportation • You are reliable and hardworking • Ability to troubleshoot any maintenance task that may arise • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems • Ability to complete a wide array of repair and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision • Physical ability to remain standing for the majority of your shift • Ability to drive small forklift is a plus If you believe that you’d be a good fit for our handyman position, get in touch with us.
