First Rush is still looking a seasoned lead guitarist with some vocal ability who can take on the challenge of playing the classic rock hits of the 70s and 80s. We play the hard stuff that made that era the best rock that ever was. We are dedicated to performing it as close as possible to the original artists. This is a paid position with equal division of all income from performances as well as current, paid, studio work. We are all older cats in our 50s and 60s with much music history and strong devotion to the music and each other. This is a great opportunity for a strong guitarist who is willing to share lead work and become a permanent member of a well respected band. We rehearse every Saturday in Colleyville with additional rehearsal days as needed. We have many booking opportunities that are on hold till this position is filled with the right guy.
