We are looking for a responsible, motivated individual with great leadership skills. Our Onsite Supervisor role is responsible for overseeing a large volume of associates for a grocery distribution warehouse. This is a graveyard shift from 8:00 pm - 5:00 am (Days off Sunday & Monday) In this position you will provide supervision of warehouse employees Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Monitors employees on the floor to ensure that all safety guidelines and work performance requirements are being met by on-site personnel · Certifies new employees on material handling equipment such as pallet-jacks and forklifts · Tracks on-site personnel time and attendance to assure proper logging of time worked to ensure accurate payroll processing. Reconcile payroll discrepancies with client as needed. · Organizes and maintains filing system, correspondences, and other records · Conducts incident/injury investigations and writes incident reports · Administers drug screens as part of incident or injury investigation · Conducts research, compiles and types statistical reports · Handles coaching and discipline for associates · Conducts safety start-up meetings · Other duties may be assigned Requirements: · Ability to follow up and follow through on client and associate requests · Must be flexible regarding the schedule and be ON-CALL as needed · Must be able to prioritize work in a fast paced environment · Must wear work boots that come above the ankle · Good understanding of customer service · Bilingual Preferred in English and Spanish Computer Skills: · Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook · Knowledge of Time Management Software(BTS/Bullhorn) · Knowledge of HR and Database Management Software (AvionteGo a plus) Education: · Minimum: High Diploma or Equivalent · Must be able to research incidents, provide counseling and disciplinary action in a diplomatic manner · Must be able to interact with all levels of management
