Full Job Description We are a family-owned water filtration company specializing in residential and commercial water filtration systems, proudly serving the greater Los Angeles County, San Diego and the Bay area since 1986. We have a great team of water technicians and staff members that will help you to learn and grow in the water filtration field. As a technician who will be driving on a daily basis, you will have the time to listen to your favorite podcasts, an audio book you have been planning for a while or simply enjoy your music while driving. The daily tasks are mostly easy and routine once you are trained with one of our senior technicians. While we prefer prior experience, it is not necessary to apply- we will pay to train you. We offer a starting training rate and once you become proficient (usually takes about 2-3 months based on your ability to learn and be comfortable doing the services by yourself), your rate will increase. If you are looking to start a new chapter in your work portfolio, we might be the company you are looking to work with. We will encourage and help you to learn all that is needed to become a field technician. RESPONSIBILITIES • The Service Technician’s responsibilities include traveling to customers’ residence and businesses to perform routine maintenance or new installations. • The Service Technician will be trained on the field to install new drinking water systems and/or water softeners as well as learn to perform annual filter replacement procedures on existing drinking water systems. • The ideal Service Technician, should have good technical skills and has experience with basic hand powered tools. • To perform the job, it is ideal to be physically fit in order to comfortably work under the kitchen sink and tight and small spaces. • Being able to lift heavy equipment such as water softeners. TASKS • Drive with our company car to different areas on a daily basis for system installation and annual maintenance. • Assist in warehouse organization tasks as needed. • Reverse Osmosis systems and water softener assemblies. • Provide instructions to customers on their new installed systems. • Promote and sales company’s products and services. • Tech savvy and comfortable using tablets during the service. QUALIFICATIONS • No prior experience needed. • Be very on time and meet the daily schedule time windows for each client. • Being a morning person is very important. • Ability to work independently and diagnose and solve problems. • Proficient in English (Multi-lingual is a plus) • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Ability to learn new subject and following the company’s rules and guidelines • Able to lift heavy equipment and work in tight spaces • Ability to work overtime • Ability to work occasional weekend appointments. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour DOE
