Lundberg Family Farms is oversee the day-to-day farm operations and staff, on all Lundberg Family Farms owned and operated fields in the Richvale, CA area. The Farm Foreman will perform manual and skilled work, as well as operate equipment as needed, in the area of rice and row crop production. This will include equipment set up, planting, growing, irrigating and harvesting of various crops. Key Responsibilities: Monitor the production and harvest of various crops according to the annual Farm Plan. Supervise and assign work to the farm staff in coordination with the Farm Manager. Ensure the proper irrigation of all fields under consultation with the Farm Manager. Oversee and assist in the proper tillage and cultivation of fields. Ensure that all operators are fully trained to safely and effectively operate farm equipment. Provide the proper setup of needed equipment and maintain a thorough working knowledge of all processes and equipment. Oversee the proper repair and maintenance of all farm equipment. Ensure equipment is safely maintained. Requirements: 5 years of rice or row crop farming experience Agricultural supervisory experience Excellent knowledge of farm equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with irrigation systems, both surface water and wells.
