I see so many ads here that say “must be serious” “professional only”. Etc…..but music can and should be fun too! Thosr are great if your only goal is to “make it”. Keep it up you’ll find what you want. But how about some of you? Interested in writing cheesy rock songs ala ‘80s hairbands recording for fun maybe and just jamming. Think Nightranger meets Rick Springfield meets Keith urban I prefer to write songs even just for fun and even if they float along in the ether somewhere. My cover band days are mostly behind me and I have a busy career outside. If your obsessed with a certain band and this is all you want to play I’m not the guy for you. Or if your girlfriend or wife says you sing just like Ed Sheehan and now you just want to play his songs I’m not your guy But I am an accomplished musician nonetheless -virtuoso I’m not, but I play fine multiple instruments lead and rhythm guitar drums (I REALLY play the drums not a guitar player who learned a beat so he says he “plays”). And I am a young 55 very active with young kids still. I love classic rock but I’m not a metal guy like Metallica or slayer etc. or dark metal. Who wants to just jam and see what happens? Remember it doesn’t HAVE to be serious! I’m in central Logan
