In 1860, the year before the Civil War, only 1.6% of U. S. citizens were slave-owners. One point Six percent. AND..... They were ALL Democrats. So, we're talking about the rich, elite, 1.6% of the population who owned slaves and convinced half of the country to fight for them. Right now, we have the rich, elite 1% 'ruling class' in Washington DC, trying to do the same thing. The Democrats claim to hate whites, racists and rich people. So why are all of the members of the Democratic leadership white, racist, rich people?
