YachtSea is a new band forming in the Central Florida area and this is going to be a fun one! Not looking for perfectionists, but professionals that can play and have fun doing it. With this project, chemistry is the most important thing. LOOKING FOR THAT BASS PLAYER TO ROUND IT OUT! Yacht Rock! That's right, get ready to jam some heavy, well, soft rock, classic rock, ummm, AM Gold type stuff! Yeah, that's us! Just check out our influences list below! Its all of the music you have loved but have been hiding from your friends since the 70's! It may even be the music your parents conceived you to! Ok, didn't need that mental picture! What is yacht rock? Think Michael McDonald, The Doobie Brothers, Kenny Loggins, Steely Dan, Toto, Robbie Dupree, Ambrosia, Firefall, Paul Davis, Christopher Cross, The Eagles, Jimmy Buffet, Hall and Oates, Boz Scaggs, Bob Welch, Fleetwood Mac, Pablo Cruise, Player....well, you get the idea. The only requirement is that you have access to a Hawaiian Shirt! Well, that and you need to be able to play a little bass. age does not matter but ya gotta have a passion for the music and the show! Rehearsal location has not been set in stone but initial rehearsals look to be taking place in Orlando. We have players from all over in this one so the location may move to accommodate everyone.
