All appliances and a-z misc.if worth it are cleaned up, fixed up, painted, refurbished etc.+Then the good ones then go to people needing that item.+The rest are given to those who can maybe use as is, or for possible fixing, parts, and or just scrap. Will pickup some broken items and some junk for free, but sometimes only if also picking up something else as well that makes it worth it to do so.+Avoid paying removal fees if you have new appliances delivered. This is because most companies who deliver new appliances charge a fee per unit to remove old ones working or not.+The less that goes to the junk and scrap yards is better for the environment. Be aware of those who claim to donate appliances after picking up. Ask some important specific questions to verify thanks. Most furniture, bedding, clothing, and some appliances etc.go to Haven of Rest Rescue Mission in St. Pete and Seminole United Church and to the curb for others in need to pick up.
