One of my favorites movies. I'm newish to the south - four years in Macon. I've struggled with finding friends here. Redhead hippie type looking for like minded friends. Is it me or are people here so insular and hard to make friends with? I am progressive (not a democrat! OK?) I was raised in the north by a southern lady. I could really use some friends. Looking forward to hearing from those who understand.
