Bass player needed for Americana/Jam music

We play Americana/Jam and are looking for a skilled bass player to join us. Original music, maybe a few covers in there. Weekly practice is necessary, 1-2 gigs a month. Practice is work, gigs are fun. There will be occasional weeks we won't be able to get together obviously, but within reason please. Ideally we would like someone that is willing to do a little more than just gig and practice, but experience has shown that is hard to find so we are content just finding someone that is down to earth with reasonable aspirations that wants to play, practice, and grow as a band. We are not a working band. This is not a hired position. Career musicians- please understand that this cannot be seen as a source of revenue. If it is, those people are welcome to do the legwork to ensure that money is coming in. It is not our goal nor is it our responsibility to generate income for you to pay your bills. That being said, individuals with stable lives, careers, and incomes are welcome! We'd love to get to know you and hope you'd be willing to hang out outside of just band life!
