Black Diamond Paver Stones & Landscape, Inc. is looking for a Full Time Landscape/Hardscape Field Service Journeyman for repairs and service. We are seeking to hire someone who is reliable, has at least 5 years of landscape/hardscape experience and is excited about the opportunity to grow with a team dedicated to excellence. Annual pay ranges from $50,000-$56,000 depending on experience. Job Duties: Surveying existing conditions on residential hardscape/landscape installation projects, identify/assess quality and resolve issues accordingly Switching out broken or stained pavers and low voltage lighting Re-grading levels Installing new irrigation valves Fixing irrigation leaks Finding solutions for failing drainage systems Replacing and/or installing new plants Managing safety programs (OSHA) and jobsite safety conditions Requirements: MUST be reliable. Eagerness to learn and grow skills from Journeyman to Foreman Must have 5+ years of experience in the hardscape/landscape and/or construction industry with basic product knowledge and skills Strong communication skills and able to work with customers Must be reliable, on time, and organized A team player who can work independently or supervised, with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic Must be able to work in the US for any employer Ideally live within 25 miles of our San Jose office Have a clean driving record with valid CA driver’s license Must be able to lift 25+ pounds Bi-lingual English/Spanish is helpful Completion of Horticulture and/or Construction courses is a plus. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Benefits include medical, dental & vision insurance, paid vacation, 3 paid holidays and a 401(k) plan with a $2000 company match.
