GENERAL SUMMARY - This position is at a large apartment building in the Western Addition area of San Francisco. Applicant must be able perform all duties listed below. Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm GROUND KEEPER DUTIES INCLUDE: - CLEAN GROUNDS OUTSIDE & COURTYARD WITH BROOM & BLOWER - RAKING DUSTING, VACCUMING,MOPPING, HOSING, POWER WASHING - CLEAN STAIRWELL & LANDING - CLEAN GARAGE, DRIVEWAY & PARKING STALLS - EMPTY DOGGIE STATION TRASH & REFILL BAGS - and other duties, as assigned. HANDYMAN DUTIES INCLUDE: - SPOT SHAMPOO HALL CARPET - TOUCH UP PAINT IN UNIT - REPLACE SMOKE DETECTOR BATTERIES - DELIVER & POST NOTICES - and other duties, as assigned. Ideal applicants will have previous groundskeeping experience, Must be able to lift 60 pounds from a standing position, must be punctual, and must have strong attention to detail. ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Reports any safety issues or property maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor + Conducts all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, state and federal laws; e.g. OSHA, ADA, Fair Housing, etc. + Maintains neat, clean and organized maintenance shop and storage areas + Notifies Maintenance Supervisor when supplies need to be ordered + Other duties, responsibilities and special projects as assigned ABILITIES - Ability to work independently on tasks assigned. - Ability to follow oral and written instructions. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, and tenants. - Ability to work in a fast paced environment. QUALIFICATIONS = Minimum of two years of experience in groundskeeping or handyman work = Ca. Driver's License and reliable transportation. = Maintains knowledge of EPA and OSHA laws and regulations Hourly wage depends on experience and skill level.
