Looking for something fun and free to do with your children on BVSD's Fall In-Service Day? Celebrate the changing seasons with Thorne Nature Experience at the Sombrero Marsh Environmental Education Center. We will have art projects, fall-themed activities with Thorne educators, and dancing and singing with our favorite nature performers Jeff & Paige! Schedule of Events: 10 am-11 am: Nature activities including birding, fall-themed activities, dip netting in the mini wetland, art activities, and nature explorations11 am-noon: Concert by Jeff & PaigePack a picnic lunch and a picnic blanket to enjoy the mountain views. This event will mostly be outdoors, rain or shine. Please plan for the weather and bring sunscreen, layers, and water. Carpooling with friends, riding bikes, or public transportation is recommended.
