Join Bob Comeau for a great late afternoon tour of Gateway City Arts, formerly the historic Judd Paper Company, and the Canal District area. This tour will take place on the same day as Doors Open Holyoke.
After the tour you can enjoy a few cocktails and/or dinner at Judd's Restaurant (reservations suggested).
At 7:00 there is a free lecture in GCA's Divine Theater by Laurence Cotton, writer, public historian and filmmaker who originated and served as Consulting Producer to the NEH-funded, nationally broadcast PBS special “Frederick Law Olmsted: Designing America.” Sign up at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/frederick-law-olmsted-bringing-nature-to-the-city-by-laurence-cotton-tickets-415974219087?aff=ebdsoporgprofile
Wear comfortable shoes for the walking.
Individual participants who will attend the tour and the Olmsted presentation together will get 15% discount on food at Judd's that night. Present copy of Tour and Lecture Ticket.
Reservations for the restaurant will be needed: the link to reserve seats at Judd's is https://tableagent.com/springfield/judds-restaurant/
Please consider making a donation (no matter how small) to help the Holyoke Preservation Trust with offering more free cultural and historical events and workshop materials.
