Sister Anonymous - A Fundraiser Reading for Eileen's House

256 Freeport Street,Boston MA 02122

18 October

Eileen’s House is the Gavin Foundation’s first effort solely dedicated to helping women overcome addiction and is in the former St. Gregory’s Convent in Dorchester Lower Mills. The Gavin Foundation has been serving families in the greater Boston area for over sixty years providing substance abuse treatment, prevention, and education programs to over 10, 000 individuals and families on their road to recovery. Eileen's House is a 30-bed facility that will serve women ages 18+ in Boston who are recovering from alcoholism and substance use disorder. Fittingly Sister Anonymous tells the dramatized true story of Sister Ignatia Gavin, who, some would say, was the third, yet, unheralded, founder of Alcoholics Anonymous.
