The SHORT CUTS Film Festival kicks off in The Westport Library’s Trefz Forum. Screening award-winning narrative, documentary, and animated shorts, SHORT CUTS includes an in-person post-film conversation with one of the directors and refreshments. The October 27 lineup includes Night Ride, Winner, Best Narrative Short, Tribeca Film Festival (Norway); Sparring Partner featuring Cecily Strong of Saturday Night Live (United States); Coming Out (USA); Pete (animated (USA); and Five-0 (France). Producer Nancy Diamond will conduct a post-film conversation with Sparring Partner director JJ Kandel. SHORT CUTS will continue on Thursday, November 17, with an all-documentary program, followed by a second program of narrative shorts on Thursday, December 8.
