We are looking for volunteers at South Hayward Parish ! Our food pantry serves over 700 families per week with groceries. Currently, our pantry is a drive-through offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2-4PM or until food runs out. Volunteer Opportunities include: Pre-Packaging(8am-12pm) : Sorting canned and dry goods into bags for distribution. Food Distribution (12:30pm-4:30pm) - Setting up and cleaning up tables for distribution, moving food to and from the staging area and the distribution area. Volunteers will put food in the cars of the families while wearing gloves and masks while social distancing. Please dress for the weather as this volunteer position is outdoors.
