What can I expect at a Pre-Cana Retreat? The Pre-Cana retreat takes place on two consecutive Saturdays from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm each day, on the campus of a host parish in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis (see retreat dates for specific locations).Sessions are led by married couples and professionals.Couples have time for discussion, guided check-ins and breakout sessions to dive deeper and create goals for their marriage.There is time for prayer and the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession).Couples attend the Saturday Vigil Mass at the host parish and receive a blessing over their engagement. Meals include a light breakfast, box lunch and snacks.Registration covers all books, materials, and meals for Bride and Groom for the two Saturdays (April 15th and April 22nd).The certificate will be given if the couple attended the two Saturdays.
