Sam had a stroke at birth and as a result has cerebral palsy. Sam found adaptive sports 6 years ago and it has completely changed his life! Sam has competed across the USA in many track and field events and holds several National Records! This summer, Sam was the first from North Dakota to qualify and compete in US Para Track and Field National Championships! Sam was recently selected as one of 25 track and field athletes to represent the USA at the IWAS (International Wheelchair and Amputee Sports) World Games in Portugal this November!
