WVSS specializes in crisis management. Since 2008 we have served over 1000 women veterans with or without families and counting. WVSS provides direct services and referrals to other agencies and organizations in all 100 North Carolina Counties, plus 10 additional U.S. States, as well as abroad. We are successful because of our partners, like you. When it comes down to it, it is powerful when we all come and work together to make a difference. H.E.R. Re-Defined is a support program for Her. It can mean whatever she needs for her mind, body and soul. The letters that spell HER, can mean Health. Empowerment. Revive. Under this program WVSS provides extensive supports, including counseling, safe-planning, pastoral counseling (all faiths), fitness consultation, support groups, reintegration and more! Collaboration among the civilian, military, and veteran systems. It is critical that victim advocates understand what services are available for military-related IPV victims in their communities.
