Your role as a partner in early childhood development unites communities, fosters families’ and kids’ resilience, nurtures their physical and mental health, and provides critical early learning opportunities. You’re an important part of the “circle of care” that surrounds the families and kids who need it most. On Thursday, October 28th, join your friends from Sesame Street for an engaging workshop that gives you free resources from our topic pages on Self-Care, Exploring Emotions, and School Readiness to use to meet the needs of everyone in your neighborhood! From 1:00pm-3:00pm, explore resources for community caregiving and dive deep into the ways to use these resources in professional learning spaces with children! In the workshop ABC's and Sesame, you will get an overview of Sesame Street in Communities, play in the "sandbox" to take a hands on approach on the varied ways to use and embed resources in your work with children and families, and learn of ways to share your knowledge and expertise of all things Sesame as an Abby Ambassador!
