Join a Koreshan State Park Ranger and wildland firefighter to discover the origins of prescribed fire and the role it plays in shaping Florida’s natural environment. You will also learn about the tools, techniques and equipment used by wildland firefighters to safely conduct prescribed fires. This program will be held in the picnic area pavilion and is free with park entry fee.
