Job description At APH Construction there are always multiple projects open at any given point in time and a Carpenter will be required to be able to function in a fast paced environment with often shifting priorities and tight deadlines. The role requires an ambitious self-starter who is proficient in construction trades and is motivated by learning new skills and products. Hands-on Training provided as needed! Preferred Skills: General construction and tool knowledge for light framing, finish carpentry, sheetrock and taping, painting, LVP, tile and carpet installation, cabinet installation. Some plumbing knowledge General understanding of electrical work Ability to read plans and follow instructions Knowledge of construction equipment Ability to understand construction logic Ability to follow direction and work effectively with peers Able to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times Job Competencies - Carpenter Adaptability and ability to change priorities as they dynamically shift Ongoing learning and betterment on industry trends and product offering changes Analytical Thinking/Problem Solving Strong verbal and written communication skills Attention-to-detail and design Takes initiative to stay busy and keep job moving per direction from lead Strong integrity and ethics We are always willing to train the right individual ** Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18.00 - $27.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Vision insurance Schedule: 4x10 Supplemental pay types: Signing bonus
