Registration is now open for the 28th Annual Dickens Festival Holiday Craft Fair taking place on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at All Souls Church in Braintree. For the past two years the festival has been online due to Covid -19; and we are happy to open our doors once again. The Dickens Festival is a unique entertainment and shopping experience with something for the young and young at heart. Admission is free and there are many things for sale. The entire church is decorated as we host Father Christmas (our Victorian Santa Claus) visits are FREE. He will be seated in his big chair on the steps of our Artisan Marketplace near the Christmas tree or in our Parish Hall Market. Father Christmas is great with persons of all ages and abilities. Shoppers interact with costumed characters from A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens and join in with our carolers. They visit our Markets where some of the best area artisans in Victorian costume sell their handcrafted goods. They can take home an Apple Pie from our Pies by Guys Baking Crew, stock up on baked goods and take a chance on some fantastic raffles... gift certificates and items donated by area merchants. The Dickens Festival is known for its fun atmosphere, unique gifts and quality, handmade merchandise for some old fashioned spirit to start off the holiday season! In 2019, we had over 600 visitors at the Dickens Festival! If you are an artisan who creates HANDMADE items, you are welcome to join us! Only five jewelry sellers are allowed due to customer demand. Any money earned from seller sales belongs to the sellers. This is a much-needed fundraiser for All Souls Church of Braintree. There is a processing fee charged by Eventbrite. Price of the space depends on where it is located and electrical access. Please see diagrams before choosing your space.
