Description
EAST HAMPTON, NY — East Hampton Town Hall has launched a new coronavirus testing site.
Testing will be offered seven days a week at Town Hall, located at 159 Pantigo Road, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The new COVID-19 testing site, which was opened in response to Suffolk County's new surge in case, will offer PCR (RNA) nasal swab testing and rapid antigen testing for active viral infection diagnosis, and antibody blood testing to determine if individuals have had previous cases of the virus.
Drive-through testing is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, January 6. Testing costs $179 for the PCR nasal swab test; $99 for the rapid antigen test, and; $59 for the antibody test. Insurance will be accepted. A limited number of free tests will be made available to those in financial need.
Appointments may be made by clicking here; some tests will be offered without appointments as daily capacity permits, town officials said.
The testing will be conducted by Collection Sites, LLC, a subsidiary of QuestCap Inc., town officials said.
