i just want to say thank you so much to the kind stranger who saved our home from burning down. last week, you started banging on our door around midnight to alert us that the side of our house had caught fire from the neighbor's trashcan. while we scrambled and panicked, you helped us put it out and stayed until it died down completely. even though we were screaming, not a single one of our neighbors came out to help us put out THEIR fire. you were the only person around who came to our aid and i shudder to imagine what might have happened if you hadn't seen it from the bus stop. thank you so, so, so much. i would love to buy you coffee and make you cupcakes. you are an angel
