Description
Merle will most likely greet you by rolling on your feet, giving you an opportunity to give her a belly rub. Her foster mom calls it the "full belly salute." She also enjoys sitting next to you on the sofa when you are home, playing with toys, and going for walks. A wonderful, quiet dog, Merle is not a barker. She enjoys being a companion for household activities such as folding laundry, doing dishes, and cooking. Then when it is time to work or relax, she will take a nap.
She is good at walks on a leash and has the energy level to go hiking.
She is fully house-trained and crate-trained. She does not chew the sofa or shoes. She knows Sit, Stay, Come, and Stop. Her foster mom has her sleeping in the crate. She would get along with other dogs in the household (medium to large size) as she made a lot of friends at the shelter. Cats catch her attention on walks and she would love to meet one. She loves all people.....because people have hands for belly rubbing!
Email for more information or to ask to meet her. $85 rehoming. 3 years old. 60 pounds. Eats 4 cups of dry food per day.
