I'm solid blues and Americana. Joe Bonamassa, Sheryl Crowe, Mavis Staples, Ry Crooder, Jeff Tweedy, Ruth Brown, Clapton, Kingfish, Denise Lasalle, Hooker, T-Bone Walker, BB King, Stevie Ray, Bob Bland, Mayall, KoKo Taylor, Lucky Peterson, Little Milton....you get the picture. Now I want to do my own thing. I'm starting out raw and fresh out on my own. I've been a background singer for others. And I want to break off from that. I know that I have what it takes. I play several different instruments. So i do know music, and I know the difference b/t a beginner, vs a really dope musician who can get it. And that's what I want to work with....skilled musicians. I'm not just looking to play in my basement or just to get around and have a few beers at your house. I'm trying to go somewhere with this. Let's go to Open Mic night at some of these places in and around Atlanta. I also have some events coming up with a local record company and producing firm that I work with and for. They're free events, but it's enough to get us started for the sake of exposure. I'm not concerned about race, religion, sexual preference, personal life, none of that. I JUST WANT TO SING AND MAKE MUSIC! Looking for others who are as serious as I am and on the same agenda. Lets not waste each other's time. I'm ready. So lets do it. I work nights Mon - Friday, and I get off at 9:30. We can rehearse at my job. It's located at 1120 Sanctuary Park Alpharetta GA 30009. Bring your instrument and let's boogie. Need it all. Piano, organ, drums, bass (electric bass only plz), rhythm guitarist, lead guitarist, horn sect. Let's make it happen.
