For more information on job functions, requirements and to apply please visit: This is routine custodial work involving the care and housekeeping of the Robert A. Christensen Justice Center. Work involves varied responsibility for participating in the performance of a variety of tasks including cleaning, minor maintenance and repair tasks, and room set-ups. Generally, the hiring range is $35,360-$37,972. Qualifications, education and experience as it relates to the position will be taken into consideration when determining hiring salary. This position includes an annual clothing allowance of $300. Typical work schedule: Monday – Friday 4:30 – 1am, additional day, evening, weekend and/or holiday hours may be required. For a more detailed overview please view the full Employee Benefit Guide ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (The following examples are illustrative only and are not intended to be all inclusive) Maintain all floor surfaces. Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and replenishes supplies. Dusts and polishes woodwork and furniture. Cleans and maintains all interior building surfaces. Collects and disposes of trash. Secure building nightly. Operation, basic maintenance and adjustment of mechanical custodial equipment. Report all maintenance issues to Lead Custodian. May be required to perform basic maintenance. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Knowledge of the proper use and safety of cleaning supplies and tools or equivalent. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES: CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Colorado Driver’s License upon hire, with complying insurance. Review of motor vehicle record is required at time of hire and periodically throughout employment. This position requires successful completion of a criminal background check including fingerprinting through a national database.
