GERMANTOWN, MD — A woman who was shot at a Clarksburg home early Monday has died, according to authorities. In a tweet Monday morning, Montgomery County police said they were investigating a domestic-related shooting that took place around 2:42 a.m. in the 22800 block of Frederick Rd. They said an adult female victim was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and an adult male suspect was in custody. Hours later, police said the woman had died from her injuries and the shooting was being investigated as a homicide. Update: Victim succumbed to her injuries. Detectives investigating this shooting as a homicide. Suspect is in custody.
