Job Summary The Cleaning Service Technician will be responsible for working with a dynamic team to create a healthy and clean environment during post construction (rough, final and touch-up cleaning) projects, and janitorial maintenance cleaning projects. Cleaning Service Technicians will be responsible for cleaning jobsites, removing trash and site debris, emptying trash receptacles, replacing lining of trash cans, sanitization, disinfection and ensuring areas are neat and organized. Responsibilities will also include vacuuming floors, sweeping, mopping and dusting. Occasional cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms will be required. Duties relevant to the Cleaning Service Technician’s Position: Duties relevant to the Cleaning Service Technician’s position include, but not limited to are: 1. Continuous Cleaning 2. Maintaining infection controls such as HVAC filter media, manometers, sanitizing edge guard or intermediate barriers, monitoring air scrubbers, negative air machines, tacky mats, prevent dirt/soil from tracking out of the construction area. 3. Disinfect (or clean) and wet-dust horizontal and vertical surfaces in the construction area and in adjacent areas. 4. Shop VAC (using a HEPA Vacuum) floors in and around the construction area. 5. Periodically sanitize edge guard walls, doorknobs and handles. 6. Periodically change out tacky mat sheets to prevent dirt/soil from traveling to areas outside of the construction zone. 7. Wet mop hard floor surfaces (if permitted) and decontaminate mop heads and cleaning cloths regularly to prevent contamination. 8. Change out negative air machine filters (pre-filter, pleated filter, ring filter, HEPA filter) as necessary. 9. Use proper PPE set forth in the safety data sheet.
