Call Kristofer at 214-608-2659 Location: Mesquite, TX (635 & 80) Guaranteed 48 hours per week | Hourly Pay Rate: $20/hour; if you do well, you will get a pay raise within 30-60 days. Shift: 5 AM to 3:30 PM Mon-Thurs and 5 AM to 1:30 PM Friday A successful Shipping & Receiving Clerk should be able to fulfill certain duties and responsibilities. Shipping & Receiving Clerks are able to perform efficiently in a warehouse and dispatch environment by handling incoming and outgoing deliveries. Duties & Responsibilities: Tracking inventory levels Package items Determines method of shipment Prepares bills, invoices, and other shipping documents Responsible for comparing bills of lading against actual merchandise received Inspect for damaged goods Distribute merchandise/materials to the correct departments Assist with unloading as necessary Must be licensed to operate Forklift and at least 1year of experience operating. Maintains internal record-keeping systems Ensures area is secure at all times Collaborate and communicate with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products. Shipping and Receiving Qualifications/Skills: Scanning and sorting incoming and outgoing stock Receiving, stocking, and stacking Pulling, packing, and loading Good written and verbal communication skills Strong sense of time organization and urgency Able to work independently and within a team Experience & Requirements: 5 years of logistics and warehouse shipping/receiving experience Forklift certification. (Be ready to provide proof) Ability to operate forklift with no supervision *** Perfect candidate will be able to drive a truck pulling/backing up 40 foot trailers in and out of the shop. ***
