It is the responsibility of the maintenance person to ensure that the grounds and facility are in great working order for the events. We are looking for someone who is friendly, kind, hardworking, and willing to ask questions if they do know something. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain building cleanliness Small plumbing repairs, broken PVC pipes, unclog toilets, and add bleach to the septic system as needed. Solve minor electrical issues (change out a light fixture, change light bulbs, change ballasts in florescent lights, change a GFCI outlet) Pressure washing Picking up trash around the grounds Some weekend work may be required Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from the supervisor. Empty trash cans and consolidate trash for weekly pickup. Paints interior and exterior walls and trim when needed. Landscaping and grounds duties. Maintains and repairs simple building plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses. Maintains and repairs simple wood parts of buildings. Cleaning and maintaining ponds and water features so they are algae-free and flow well. Ensure that the irrigation system is in proper working order. Repairs fences, gates, walls, and walkways. Cleans grounds and removes trash. Table and chair set up and take down (events only).
