Country Band Seeks Lead guitarist

Description

Country Dance band that plays 90’s classic country Is seeking an advanced lead guitarist, (please no beginners this is not a garage band) for final piece of the puzzle. We are looking for someone that is somewhat healthy, if you can’t stand for 3 hours and need a bar stool on stage this is not your band, Ideally it would be nice if someone can do backing vocals and maybe some harmonies but not a deal breaker, however, someone that will do there homework and not use rehearsal for learning the material is a deal breaker. The plan is strong harmonies which everyone in the band can sing and has great harmonies, we have two lead vocalist, one male and one female. Our band consists of lead vocals/Rhythm guitar, lead vocals/keys, bass guitarist/vox, drummer/vox. Again, all are solid seasoned musicians in our late 40’s to early 60’s with many many years of stage experience with two of the musicians being x session musicians. some of us have played together before in other bands and the rest I hand picked because of there music ability and work ethics. We’re looking for a lead guitarist that is looking for hopefully his last band. We are 35 songs in and ready to gig, we will add another 10 tunes here and there as we go for the female vocalist. We should be a top notch band here in the DFW area musically and vocally. This is for fun, not looking to make the big time and not playing for money but it’s nice getting paid and we don’t play for free. We rehearse every other Saturday starting between 10-11am so if that time don’t work for you then you won’t work for us. We all have families and jobs but do want someone somewhat committed and serious. We all get along really well and cut up a lot, but when it’s time to play we know when to get serious. If your in other projects please don’t respond, I’m not canceling a gig so you can go play with your other project. We do have many contacts as some are waiting on us as we speak. SET LIST: 1.
