STAMFORD, CT — Lexi, an 11-year-old yellow Labrador Retriever mix, has been missing from her home in Wilton since Dec.7 and was last seen in the area of Stamford and Greenwich.
According to owner Brandi Solomon, Lexi was spotted Friday, around 10 p.m., on Four Brooks Road in Stamford on a resident's camera. (To sign up for Stamford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Since Friday, there have also been a few possible sightings of Lexi in the area of North Stanwich and Taconic roads in Greenwich, Solomon said.
According to Solomon, Lexi is currently in "flight/survival mode," meaning she is very scared of people at the moment and is apt to run from them.
"We ask that if people do see her that they do not call out to her or try to chase her," Solomon said in an email to Patch. "Each time someone has done this, she has run away, and we are trying to keep her in the same area."
Anyone who sees Lexi is asked to keep a distance from her, take a picture if possible and call 914-625-7674 immediately, Solomon said.
Solomon also encouraged Stamford and Greenwich residents to check cameras at their homes in case Lexi has passed through the area.
According to a flyer, Lexi is "friendly," weighs approximately 50 pounds and is wearing a collar with tags.
