Now Hiring Assistant Manager in the City of San Bernardino!!! Mon-Fri Payrate : 65K-70K DOE • Effective client management and consistent communication and follow through on their requests • Read, interpret, and understand client's contractual requirements and implement processes to support. • Plan, examine, analyze and evaluate site operations with respect to quality standards, safety standards, and customer support. • Responsible for budget control and justification for capital expenditures. • Handle details of personnel administration in conjunction with the HR department, including disciplinary actions, performance appraisals, transfers, terminations etc. • Set and maintain appropriate staffing levels while meeting labor standards/productivity • Manage and develop systems, processes and procedures to maintain inventory accuracy • Review bills of lading for incoming products and customer orders to plan work activities • Communicate with various corporate departments to prioritize shipments and maintain the floor set schedule • Assist in establishing warehouse performance objectives (KPIs) and strategic planning • Establish operational procedures to verify incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of merchandise, and warehouse inventory storage • Coordinate distribution warehouse activities with sales, record control, and purchasing departments to ensure availability of merchandise • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and stay up to date on changes to suit customer needs • Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, engineering, or related area is preferred 5+ years of relevant operations management experience 3+ years of progressive experience in a high volume, highly automated distribution environment Training or certification(s) in continuous improvement, lean, and/or operational excellence preferred Technical experience in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office suite Skills and Abilities: • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Slack, and Google docs; ability to measure results through developing spreadsheets, graphs and visual aides • Excellent problem-solving skills • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks based on multiple business needs • Ability to handle tight deadlines and scheduling requirements • Aptitude for team leadership—positively influence others to work towards a solution • Ability to develop, monitor and achieve financial plans and budgets • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple levels in order to work cross organizationally toward solutions • Ability to drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost control, service and inventory accuracy
