This is for a one-week project but looking for someone who is open to a full time position. We are looking for a shipping/receiving/warehouse associate to add to our team. We are in a 10,000 sq. ft warehouse but much of the work is outside in our yard area. Must be ok working outside in the sun. Pay $18 - $20/hr based on experience. Duties: Organizing warehouse using forklift and/or pallet jack. Must be computer savvy, punctual, good organizational skills. Must be able to lift items up to 75 lbs. Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift and carry throughout the workday. Receiving: Unloading of freight containers both by hand and/or forklift. Must be able to work outside in the sun. Organize offloaded boxes of all sizes, palletize and shrink wrap pallets. Receive UPS, office or warehouse supplies and deliveries. Document and verify quantities, items received and fill out receiving logs. Shipping: Create packing slips, Bill of Ladings, shipping labels Prepare products and pallets for shipping Weigh and measure pallet sizes and verify goods and quantities against shipping documents. Load palletized customer orders onto trucks Take initiative and document all shipments by keeping an accurate and real-time shipping log Preferred: Forklift experience Shrink wrapping pallets Hard-working Team player Works safely all the time The short term work consists of some of the above as well as light assembly of small brass fittings so somebody with experience using a drill press and/or hand tools will be considered.
