Build A Box is a North Orange County based custom corrugated box company. Our client portfolio includes small businesses, startups, and large manufacturers. We are looking to hire a production assistant who is dependable, driven, and detail-oriented. Daily tasks include placing artwork, operating a wide format printer, and operating a box design CAD table.
Candidates will get hands-on experience in business, machine operation, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
Learn and operate a large (90” wide) large format printer
Learn and operate a large digital cutting CAD table
Operate machine to give printing directions in accordance to job order and specification
Manage deadlines and deliverables of multiple customer jobs simultaneously
Work independently, often with minimal supervision, while maintaining great communication
Demonstrate prompt and consistent attendance and adherence to company policies
Be a team player, dealing effectively, respectfully, and professionally with co-workers and internal constituents at all levels, in all departments
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be available to work part-time or full-time hours
Knowledge of Google Docs and Sheets (preferred)
Professional attitude and a commitment to perpetual learning
Strong and effective communication skills (oral and written)
Ability to follow instructions, and to work independently
Ability to prioritize workload and work well under tight deadlines with high accuracy
Demonstrate cooperative and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Part time/Full time
Salary: From $15.00 per hour. Pay increase after successful probationary period
Schedule: Day shifts and swing shifts available
Ability to commute/relocate: Anaheim, CA 92807: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
