Roles and Responsibilities for this position can include: • Assist with panel fit and alignment • Assist with the final assembly of the vehicle • Block sanding of primer area • Assist with frame measuring, pulling & straightening • Maintains a clean and organized work area • Assist in repairing vehicles to their pre-accident condition • Efficiently work and maintain company minimum standards • Inspect all parts and areas of the vehicles scheduled to be repaired • Ensure all needed repairs are identified to reduce and eliminate supplements • Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy • Inspect and test drive repaired vehicles to check for compliance with safety and quality standards • Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, kneel or crouch in providing a properly prepared vehicle for painting • Person must follow high-quality standards to minimize defects and exceed company standards • Duties including lifting, welding, preparing, sanding, taping, masking & cleaning of vehicles prior to being moved into painting • Identification, safe handling, and appropriate disposal of materials and acquiring knowledge of OSHA and EPA requirements • Must communicate with employers and other employees to plan and execute a quality repair on a variety of vehicles, including cars & trucks
